Ben served in the U.S. Marine Corps and his current occupation is a carpenter. He is a member of Stevens Street Baptist Church. "I have a deep personal passion for the 'Right To Life' movement. I have a child whose life was terminated by abortion despite my adamant opposition and objection to such a heinous 'choice'. My child was viewed as an unwelcome inconvenience that the mother was not 'ready for'. I love children and I will stand in the breach for them whenever I am given the opportunity. Lord be willing!"
